Are you looking for a new opportunity as a Site Engineer? Do you have experience on on excavations, stockpile, drainage and foundations works?
Anderselite have an exclusive role for a 6-month fixed contract with our leading housebuilder client for the project in Swansea.

If you also have proven experience as a Site Manager on Residential projects, there is a possibility of this role becoming permanent following a successful 6-month period.
This is an immediate requirement and my client is looking for someone to interview and begin ASAP.

Duties include:

• Ensures and always oversees a positive culture of health and safety onsite to ensure a safe working environment.
• Responsible for ensuring our client’s status as a 5 Star Builder is maintained and that every home is built to the specified design and standard.
• Carry out regular inspections of reinforcement, excavations, stockpile, drainage, waterproofing and foundation works.
• Implements industry best practice and innovations across their project and works with external bodies such as NHBC, to create better, safer, or more cost-effective ways of working.
• Previous experience in temporary works coordinator role and responsibilities.
• Quality inspections of all substructures and superstructures prior to NHBC or Clerk of Works sign off.
• Keep and maintain records for area of responsibility: Daily Diary, Inspection Records, Cube Results, project related infrastructure, waterproofing works QA.
• Ensure the contractors verification is carried out during the build stage.
• Manages work safely and economically by coordinating activities with the Project team.
• Providing technical support to the project and design team.
• Ensure works are carried out based on the given method statement and specifications.
• Manages the works under their control and works safely and economically by coordinating activities with sub-contractors.
• Monitor the RC, Groundwork, Bricklayers, and other external works sub-contractors.
• Site specific temporary work design brief preparation ensuring all involved are consulted, sufficient in line with site requirements.
• Ensure the SMH Temporary works process is followed on site with the inspections.
• Complete the as built survey and defect highlighted to the relevant party for the remediation works.
• Ensure effective communication that enables engagement and enablement.
• Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations.
• Develop and ensure safe working practices.

The successful candidate will have:

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid
• Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
• AutoCAD experience
• Strong IT skills and competence
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Sufficient experience of Site Management and/or SHE in the Housebuilding industry experience desirable
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid experience using EDM’s and Level equipment
