I am recruiting for a Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor for a 6 month contract in Maidenhead. This role is considered to be inside of IR35, pay rates negotiable for the right candidate.

Reporting to a Project Manager, the Site Agent will be responsible for managing the final planning process and delivery of a civil engineering scheme in central Maidenhead including the construction of a car park, road works, surface and foul drainage and a sewer repair.

Specific duties for the Site Agent will include:
Ensuring the contract is delivered in accordance with all applicable legislation, the terms of the contract and high standards of health & safety
Production of RAMS and other site paperwork
Production of the contract quality and environmental plan
Delivery of the contract within programme and budget
Liaison with site staff and commercial team to ensure tender allowances are not exceeded
Continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure the contract objectives are met
Ensure that changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed
Provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Project Manager

To succeed in this role you will have previous experience of working as a Site Agent on civil engineering works, or as a Sub Agent with demonstrable experience to be able to step up. Ideally you will hold a formal qualification in civil engineering as well as SMSTS.
