Job description

We are looking for Service Delivery Manager for a leading Tier 1 IT company in Surrey on Permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities

The Service Delivery Manager will be required to work across multiple customer accounts, ensuring the service delivered is in line with the agreed scope of work and to encourage best practice service delivery. They will be responsible for communicating and interfacing with the delivery team members, partner and end-user where required, to ensure that best practice systems and processes are used and that an ethos of continuous improvement is developed across the teams to deliver better quality services to partners/customers.

They will act as the first point of escalation for all delivery matters for associated contracts and escalate and report on incidents, problems, and escalations as necessary. They will work collaboratively with Service team to deliver high standards to customers.

To be successful in this role you will hold experience working in a multi-customer environment with strong customer facing skills including commercial P & L experience. You will hold strong resource management and asset management with experience of business continuity planning. The candidate will have strong leadership skills to ensure that a team ethos is development with a culture of continuous improvement. They will have a positive and can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and encourage teams whilst being able to use patience and diplomacy. The role holder will have the ability to work under pressure and to maintain a professional approach irrespective of the difficulties.


  • Candidate must be capable of going through SC Clearance (Candidate already holidng SC Cleared preferred)

  • Excels within a multi-tasking environment.

  • Co-operative and flexible team player.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.

  • Excellent customer liaison skills, exhibiting tact and diplomacy.
