Senior Site Manager - Mayfair - Permanent - Luxury Apartments
Are you a Senior Site Manager with experience of managing the fit out of high end apartments in London ?
We are currently recruiting for a senior site manager on a permanent basis on behalf of a contractor who specialise in high end and bespoke fit out and construction projects across the London and the Home Counties .
The contractor manage some of London's most prestigious projects in the luxury market and are a leader in their field .
The project you will be managing is the fit out of 32 luxury apartments in Mayfair and is valued at circa £28m.
You will be working alongside a site based project manager and quantity surveyor and your remit will be to oversee the site foreman running their own section.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensuring site health and safety
- Coordination of site foreman, subcontractors and site labour
- Management of site diary
- Ordering materials
- Chairing weekly site meetings
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 10 years in a site manager role
- Joinery background - preferably high end
- Experience in managing high end apartment, hotel, or residential projects
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
In addition, the contractor is looking for someone with strong organisational and leadership skills who make judgement calls when on site .
Furthermore , the contractor is looing for those managers who are well presented and are client facing .
The project has already started and is at first fix stage. However, the contractor wants to take on someone as soon as possible.
