Site Manager – Permanent – Car Showrooms

Are you a site manager with experience of overseeing the build and fit out of car showroom projects?

AndersElite are recruiting on a permanent basis for a site manager on behalf of a contractor who specialise in the build and fit out of car showrooms across the South coast of England and are looking to take on a site manager with experience of building car showrooms or in the commercial construction sector .

Projects include new showroom builds, extensions and refurbishments of car dealerships and the contractor is therefore looking to hire a site manager who can demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with values ranging from circa £200k to £5m.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Health & Safety compliance
• Site inductions
• Coordinating sub-contractors and site labour
• Ordering materials
• Reporting to visiting contract manager
Experience
• 6 – 7 years plus experience as a number one site manager
• Experience of building car showrooms or commercial construction projects
Qualifications :
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid

The contractor looks to manage projects locally to their office in Southampton but as this is not always possible the contractor is looking for a manager who will work away from home when needed.
The working hours are from 8am – 5.30 pm and the contractor work Monday to Friday and does not encourage weekend working.
In return the contractor offers a very competitive salary, car allowance or vehicle, holidays, and a pension. Ultimately, they are very flexible and package as the priority is to find the right person.
