Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + Grade C Car Allowance £5,040 + Travel Payment (Dependent on Candidate Location)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a tier one contractor, a leading construction and civil engineering company. In this role, you will play a critical part in the management and control of costs for a significant project located at the West Ruislip site.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will include:

Cost Management: Effectively manage and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Contracts Administration: Administer contracts and ensure compliance with relevant contractual obligations.
Budget Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for the project.
Variation and Change Management: Assess the impact of variations and changes to the project scope on costs and schedules.
Claims Management: Handle claims and disputes, working towards resolution in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project delivery.
Reporting: Prepare regular project reports and financial updates for management.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Strong knowledge of contract administration and relevant industry contracts.
Excellent financial and analytical skills.
Experience in managing project budgets.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
