Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Coordinator for a Busy Bristol Multi-disciplinary Practice. You will need to demonstrate the below;

  • Take the overall project lead
  • Produce and co-ordinate technical drawings, depending on project scale in conjunction with others
  • Preparation of feasibility studies/sketch designs/detail design/specs/report/tender action
  • Contract administration
  • Client liaison and chairs meetings
  • Project Planning and programming
  • Liaise directly with senior management
  • Liaison with local authority
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to budget
  • Responsible for ensuring and fully understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures

Competencies Required

Technical Competencies

Behavioural Competencies

  • Highly experienced in producing all working technical drawings, project co-ordination and technical specifications
  • Experience in taking projects from inception to completion
  • Knowledge of H & S/CDM requirements
  • Knowledge of technical legislation including building regulations
  • Knowledge of compilation and submission of planning applications
  • Good AutoCAD, Revit and other software skills
  • Highly experienced in producing and co-ordinating working drawing information
  • Excellent Construction knowledge
  • RIBA Part 1/2 or HND qualified or equivalent, and 12+ years experience
  • Good client communication skills
  • Good understanding and proactive approach to inter-disciplinary working
  • Professional appearance

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Manages and mentors team members

Special Features of the Role:

  • The role may include regular travel to sites / client offices
  • Must be prepared to work outside normal business hours occasionally, depending on workload / project deadlines
