Senior Planner (Power) require for a Power Transmission specialist comprising of engineering and construction services active in sectors that include power rail and water. They are renowned for investing in their staff and plant providing a highly skilled and equipped workforce for their clients. They are now looking to add to their rail planning capabilities by recruiting a high calibre Senior Planner (power) to work on a contract basis out of Glasgow.

The Role
You will have responsibility for:

Resourcing, costing and preparation of logic linked construction programmes on a range of projects that includes OHL, Substation and Underground Cabling
Production of reports
Monitoring of construction progress through weekly trackers by pro-actively chasing update information
Programme updates, progress reports and impacting events resulting in compensation events and early warnings.

About You
You will have:

Experience of working as planner on power transmission projects
Experience of working as an Engineer or similar
Be able to produce a full construction programme from reference to the contract documentation and drawings
Minimum of 5 years planning experience
Expert user of Primavera P6 Planning Software package
Have a pro-active attitude.
