Senior Planner required for an award winning tier 1 contractor operating across the infrastructure and construction sectors. As a Senior Planner you'll join an established well regarded planning team and work on live projects and tenders in the education, health and residential sectors. Due to more work wins, to an already strong order book, they are looking to recruit a high calibre Senior Construction Planner to work out of their West Midlands HQ.

The Role

Produce schedules as well as obtain and analyse quotes for all time-related preliminaries
Monitor hours and costs to determine trends and to assist in forecasting
Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements
Prepare and review analytical programmes for a given project to be used within the tender submission
Establish the plan and document scope, develop project schedules and or preliminary cost estimates
Lead and supervise Junior planners and planners working on assigned projects
Evaluate scope changes, cost trends, additional work orders and other elements.

About you.

Have a demonstrable background in construction planning at a senior level within the construction sector
Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
Have a strong understand of construction methods
Be competent in using planning software including P6 and ASTA
Have previous tender experience.
