Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Leeds
£35,000 - £45,000
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work for an international multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a great reputation in the market to work across an exciting range of projects locally and across the UK, you will provide development infrastructure design services to our Buildings group.

This clients Leeds office have contributed to some of the most iconic projects in the North of England and Midlands in recent years, including The Factory, Middlewood Locks, and HOME Cultural & Arts Centre, and with current workload spanning the aviation, education, healthcare, masterplan, cultural, residential, and refurbishment sectors, working within this team offers unrivalled opportunities to for stretching yourself for solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
What will I be doing?
- Undertake detailed civil engineering design
- Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work
- Prepare technical specifications
- Check and verify junior engineers design and delivery work
- Manage single and/or multidisciplinary projects
- Monitor job financial performance
- Prepare technical and financial proposals for provision of professional services
- Represent the client at meetings with clients, other professionals and suppliers
- Contribute as appropriate to planning of project work and resourcing planning of the Infrastructure team
- Contribute to the planning of the team's workload
What Will I bring to the role?
- Typically a minimum of 7 years' experience in civil infrastructure design on development projects
- Technical background in drainage, roads, earthworks and utilities co-ordination
- Experience of communicating technical subjects
- Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civils 3D
Desirable Experience:
- Interdisciplinary working
- WinDes MicroDrainage
- Experience of large international multidisciplinary projects
- Some site experience desirable
- Presentation skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (Masters degree preferred)
- Professional registration (preferably Chartered status) with a relevant institution
