Job Title - Scheduler
Location - Remote based role with occasional travel to visit Northern office.


The role

This is a fantastic new opportunity with an immediate start date for the right candidate to join a busy Utilities contractor a Project Scheduler.

As Commercial Planner you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Project Schedules and Resource Schedules for a £100m utilities (telecoms) contract. You will be required to maintain live documentation through the extraction of data from multiple sources and stakeholders. In addition to building the plans, you will also be responsible for identifying conflicts and presenting issues and options to senior staff as appropriate.

About You
* Must have construction / civils / utilities experience
* Must be very strong on excel (Pivots, VLookup's etc)

Tasks
- Support the Commercial Manager by completing Project Plan for £100m utilities contract.
- Support the Commercial Manager by developing and completing Resourcing Plan.
My client is looking for a dynamic, driven and resourceful individual who has previous experience in a similar role (Project Planning / Project Management / Scheduler) preferably in the Utilities industry (although other industries where transferable skills are evident will be considered). We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, experienced in managing large data sets and proficient (and quick) in data analysis including Pivot Tables and Lookup formulas.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence and escalate.
- Ability to extract key planning information from multiple sources and manage their own workload to achieve project deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Available immediately and able to hit the ground running.

Key Deliverables
- Maintenance of Project Plan and schedule for multiped location utility build contract.
- Development and maintenance of Project Resourcing Plan.

Rate - up to £250 per day

Start date - Immediate start - rolling one month contract
