Retail Town Planner
There are various positions available from Senior to Associate level. Salaries range anywhere between 40,000 and 70,000 per annum depending on experience

New job requirement just in for a Retail Town Planner to join one of the world’s most leading engineering firms providing technical consultancy services to the build and natural environment. You will be involved with a range of projects within retail development. This is a permanent position within a planning consultancy team contributing to preparing strategies, applications, environmental impact assessments, appeals and giving planning advice to a range of commercial and public sector clients including developers, housebuilders, and retailers.
The team are forever expanding and are in need of additional talent for a range of developments such as retail parks, strategic housing, high-rise city apartments, student accommodation, offices, and much more.
Experience in a private sector consultancy and client management would be preferable & the ideal candidate will also have strong analytical skills, be self-drive and self-motivated and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.

What we need from you –
• Preparing retail impact assessments and sequential tests.
• Managing the preparation and submission of a variety of planning applications.
• Preparing planning appraisals and strategies.
• Attending site visits and design team and client meetings.
• Project management and budgetary control on projects.
• Collaborating and supporting more junior staff.
• Liaising with internal and external clients and statutory bodies, and public consultation, as necessary.
• Assisting with and participating in winning business and business development.
