Regional Mobilisation Manager

North/Central Wales:

Fixed term 6 months, circa £45,000

We are looking for an experienced Regional Mobilisation Manager with FM/engineering background, to set up a TFM contract across all of Wales for the Welsh Government (WG) based in the South/Mid Wales area for 6 months

The Regional Mobilisation Manager is responsible for supporting Mobilisation Managers and/or Operations Managers in coordinating the activities of the obilization to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key obilization activities to include:

SERVICE DELIVERY

  • Conduct/Facilitate asset and condition surveys of Client premises.
  • Photograph key locations for H+S Manuals.
  • Organise Mobilisation Staff visits to each site.
  • Conduct compliance audit of documentation handed over from the Out-Going Contractor.

HR

  • Organise one to one consultations for transferring staff with outgoing contractor.
  • Organise Group Consultation with elected representatives.

REPORTS

  • Provide the Client with reports on; access plant, Building Management Systems, maintenance log books, certificates and calibration, statutory examination and inspection, fire log books etc.

SITE DATA FILES

  • Create site data files, update as required and create additional files for new locations
  • Print Data file covers and inserts.

IT

  • Liaise with IT to ensure installation of a fixed line to the Facilities Management Office

ADMINISTRATION

  • Pursue and track deliveries of materials. Verify conformity to plans & specifications.
  • Organise meeting rooms.
  • Order identity badges.
  • Scan and save documentation.

Under the direction of the Mobilisation Manager, the Regional Mobilisation Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks to facilitate the obilization of a total facilities management contract for the Welsh Government.

This will involve corralling employees from various parts of the business to complete tasks whilst keeping the Client informed of progress across the various workstreams.

An essential part of this role is to ensure that any tasks that emerge as the obilization plan develops are linked across the various workstreams to ensure that any impacts from changes are understood and managed by the workstream leads.

The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience in either facilities management, outsource building maintenance/engineering, project management or similar.
