Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager – CAT A / CAT B office fit out projects– £30k-£48k plus full package including bonus– Working from city centre Manchester office, 1 or 2 days from home / site depending on work load

My client
My client is a Manchester based fitout contractor looking to expand their team. They are looking for somebody with the right attitude and character who is willing to work alongside and learn from an experienced and successful team.

Projects
Average project values are £1million. You will be expected to run up to 4/5 CAT B office fit out sites concurrently,

Role
Your role will be a client facing role, dealing with clients and subcontractors from a wide rage of industries from Telecoms, Financial and Legal. You will be expected to run up to 4 sites concurrently.

Duties
Work closely with the site team and build upon already successful and fantastic working relationships with clients and subcontractors
Will lead on valuations, variations, and payments, reporting these to senior management.
Manage the costs of projects in the value range of up to £1 Million
Identify key risks and opportunities to enable effective tender settlements
Produce monthly CVR Reports.
Ensure subcontractor measures are correct

Candidate
A degree in Quantity Surveying or other related construction degree
Some operational experience is preferred
Good interpersonal skills ability to work effectively with site management and the rest of the team
Multi build experience

Up to £48000 plus full package
