Are you a Quantity Surveyor with previous experience in major projects? Here at Anderselite, we are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor.

Our client has asked us to identify a Quantity Surveyor who understands the sub-contract procurement process and commercial management. The ideal candidate would have previously worked on Healthcare projects and be able to manage costs to ensure the company and client are fully informed of the commercial situation.

This will be a site-based office location, working Monday to Friday with hours of 8.00am to 5.30pm.

Duties include:

• Supporting the Lead QS with Pre-Construction Stage 2 activities moving into Stage 3
• Review and analysis of Consultant & SC proposals & quotations for early design & work activities
• Preparation of Consultant & SC appointments
• Identification & pricing of risks
• Monitoring & update of cost plan
• Preparation & processing of Payment recommendations

The successful Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Preferably NEC / P22 experience – good candidates outside P22 will be considered
• Relevant degree or certification for role

Please note - duration of the contract will be 3 months, but likely to increase as the project develops.
