Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor – Manchester - NW Projects – Cost Consultancy – Hybrid - Up to £45,000

My client is a Cost Management Consultancy, based in the centre of Manchester. They specialise in a variety of sectors predominantly Healthcare but also involve themselves with Education, Residential and Commercial projects. They have continued to secure a number of short, medium and long term contracts across a variety of work sectors, which will offer a varied and interesting level of work portfolio for the right candidate.

Role
My client are looking to expand their team and are looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors & Quantity Surveyors to work on pre and post contract quantity surveying services across a wide range of projects
• Attend design team and site progress meetings as required.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates,
• Preparation of tender documents.
• Preparation of cashflow forecasts and financial reports.
• Checking valuations

Candidate
• Qualified or working towards MRICS - Desirable
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar - Essential
• Professional experience within a consultancy environment - Desirable
• Previous healthcare experience would be beneficial
• Knowledge and understanding of cost management / quantity surveying duties, with experience of NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Be capable of taking a project through from inception to completion
