Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing – Manchester - £45k to £55k.

My client are a leading provider of regeneration services in the UK - covering everything from community regeneration and refurbishment to repairs, and housing development.
Working with local authorities and private sector funders they deliver thousands of homes every year

Role
This is a Permanent role working 37.5hrs per week working on a social housing development, predominantly office based. the role will include Quantity Surveying duties including responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliancy services and planned maintenance works

Duties
• Control all expenditure
• Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts
• Sub-contract procurement and commercial management
• Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts
• To manage the day to day cost control.
• Measure progress, submit valuations, submit final accounts and retention release and monitor receipt of payment in a timely manner in accordance with the contracts
• Process subcontractor requests for payment
• Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designated projects
• Sufficiently manage the financial aspects of the project.

Candidate
• Industry experience in the role of a Quantity Surveyor
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant subject
• Experience of social housing, including responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliancy services and planned maintenance works
• IT skills – MS Office, Excel, Project, Word etc


Package
Up to £55,000 Depending on experience
£5k Car allowance,
5% bonus,
25 days holidays plus public holidays
