I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support one of the housebuilders on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the commercial team to facilitate the cost-effective delivery and completion of developments.

Experience, Qualifications, and skills:


• Must have worked as a Quantity Surveyor on similar kinds of projects, working as a contractor on a housing construction project
• Quantity Surveyor related degree or HND/HNC Building Studies
• Procurement experience
• Good administration skills
• Strong communication and listening skills, with good negotiation skills
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills and the ability to learn sophisticated design and costing IT packages
• Negotiating and team-working skills and the ability to motivate and lead those on site
• Highly motivated to deliver quality developments
• Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
• Committed to diversity and inclusion

Salary

• £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience plus package
