Anderselite an exciting new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s newly formed fire safety department managing cladding remediation projects across multiple counties, with offices based in Surrey.

The Quantity Surveyor will be an integrated commercial role with both quantity surveying & project management consultants with career progression opportunities within the company.

We are pleased to say, this role can accommodate agile working arrangements.

Duties include:

• Collating and issuing tenders for fee proposals to consultant & sub-contractors
• Negotiation and Analysis of Consultants fee proposals
• Producing tender analysis for fee proposals & sub-contract work packages
• Completion of Consultants & Subcontract orders and variations
• Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts analysis
• Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting
• Cost reporting and budget control
• Attending site project meetings
• Responsible for commercial project lead, including prepare and issue monthly cash flow forecasts, key date trackers

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant qualification for Quantity Surveyor in Construction
• Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housing developer, specifically on new build developments
• Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
• Strong mathematical ability
• Ability to assess and analyse information
• Good business sense
• Good understanding of budget management
• Negotiating and networking skills
• COINs user experience
• Able to work within a busy team and under pressure
• Good team working skills
• Accurate with an eye for detail
• A methodical approach
• Previous experience within a residential housebuilder
