We are actively seeking an utilities QS to join an expert team working on telecommunications and utility contracts across Glasgow.

The successful candidate will work for a leading Civil engineering tier 1 company operating in the utility/telecomms sector. You will be responsible for the evaluation, negotiation, management, and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks,

The role:

Ownership of assigned Contracts, responsible for ensuring Contract administration
Site visits and progress review meetings as required
Commercial support to Project Managers and Site Agents
Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Previous experience of telecommunications and utility contracts
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Previous experience measuring utility work / knowledge of utilities and telecommunications
Ability to identify and resolve problems at an early stage
Must hold a valid drivers licence
Can work independently
Happy to be on site 4/5 days per week
