Proposals Manager – Civils/Highways – Cheshire – Up to £45,000 plus package

My client is a well-established and well-known Civils’ contractor in the North-West region, they are involved in major highways construction and other infrastructure projects throughout the region.

Role & Duties
The Proposal Manager will coordinate and produce the proposal response. Working with the Bid Manager, responsibilities include managing all necessary proposal procedures and governance. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure, to challenging deadlines and to communicate with and manage a variety of team members both internal and external

You will oversee the delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes and coordinate and review/edit proposal input from various team members

You will be participating in key review meetings and final document review, content sign-off, and document production in addition to, document template management in line with company branding and client’s requirements

You will have to have Excellent communication skills at all levels as you will be leading answer planning sessions and writing tender responses

Candidate
A proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment, preferably within the construction/civils sectors. The Proposal Manager will be experienced in scheduling and running tender launch meetings, leading storyboard/answer plan sessions, facilitating key review meetings/final document review, and proposals upload/portal management.

• Previous experience of work winning in construction/civils sectors
• Strong academic background (degree level) in English Language or equivalent is desirable
• Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Confident and organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, able to manage and meet multiple project deadlines
• Ability to build relationships with a variety of people at all levels
• Total commitment to quality, accuracy, and detail
• Good researching and interviewing skills to obtain information from discipline experts

Starting at £35,000 plus package
