Anderselite are actively seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor (QS) to start work in Newcastle Under Lyme. The ideal candidate would satisfy the following criteria:

• 1 to 5 years post graduate/work experience in a Project QS role acting as commercial lead (with the assistance and back up of senior commercial staff) on projects.
• Organised, structured and methodical.
• Team player.
• Used to operating under ISO:9001 Management System.
• Work from site 2 to 3 days a week. 1 day in the office. 1 day from home (if required).
• Driving licence.
• CSCS card desirable.
• Required QS skills and knowledge as follows but list is not exhaustive:

1. Produce Bill of Quantities utilising SMM7 or NRM2.
2. Split Bill of Quantities into elemental resources and allocate to cost code and produce Short Forecast Template.
3. Produce S/c Procurement Schedule from analysis of agreed contract programme. Update on periodical basis.
4. Compile and issue S/c enquiries.
5. Compile s/c tender comparison report and issue to Managing QS to demonstrate due diligence in procurement process.
6. Compile and issue S/c Orders including arranging and chairing Pre-Order Meeting and then producing minutes for insertion into S/c Order.
7. Manage collateral warranty process with s/c to ensure their timely execution. Includes completion of Warranty Tracker.
8. Produce monthly internal short forecast report for issue and review by senior commercial team and MD.
9. Compile and issue monthly external valuation to client/client representative.
10. Compile and issue S/c Payment Notices & Payless Notices including management of S/c accounts and agreement of final account.
11. Price contract variations and produce loss/and or expense claims.
12. Compile & present commercial section of monthly contractor’s report.
13. Compile and agree final account with client/client’s representative.
