Project Manager required with experience administering NEC form of contract (Option E).

Our client a medium sized regional contractor has a requirement for a freelance Project manager with planning/programming skills to work on a construction project.

The client has engaged the contractor under the NEC Option E form of contract so any experience of working under this contract would be an advantage.

You will be based in the clients Head office, working 1 day a week on site which is based in South Wales, so you must be able to travel.

Reporting to the business owner directly, you will be accountable for delivering the design and construction through the whole project lifecycle, ensuring Client and Company objectives are achieved. Responsibilities will include all tasks required within:

* Programme management
* Project brief development and execution
* Risk management
* Contract management, particularly NEC
* Regular progress reports to all stakeholders
* Technical advice and support
* Developing new builds
* Quality Management reporting and inspection
* Management of variations and defects
* Managing resources within budget

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

* Experience of end-to-end project management including new builds
* Experience of successfully operating within multi-stakeholder environments, with the ability to challenge constructively and deliver client-led targets
* Effective time management skills to plan and manage your own workload and your team in accordance with project budgets
* Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle for business use.

This role will be Outside IR35 for the succesful candidate.
