We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our VolkerLaser team working on Area 4 National Highways works for structures projects as well as other public and private works.
Ideally you will have a background specialising in highways infrastructure and bridge maintenance works such as concrete repair, bearing replacements, joint replacements, etc
Also require some planning/programming experience and technical knowledge.

Some travel and staying away from home necessary, dependant on the project, though not likely to be significant.

Key Accountabilities:

The Project Manager is the most senior member of the on site operations team and is the key person responsible for the successful delivery of the project.

The Project Manager has the ultimate responsibility to ensure health, safety, environmental & quality compliance as well as programme and budget requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Proven technical and project management abilities
• Strong organisational and management skills
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
• Sufficient experience required in construction
