Working with permanent and temporary modular builds, this well-known company is now looking to appoint a Project Manager in Essex that can manage site activities and direct the completion of projects. This company is a specialist in Modular Construction nationwide with over 60 years’ experience. They have projects in many fields, ranging from commercial to educational builds.

About the role:
The Project Manager will co-ordinate and supervise site activities to ensure projects are run smoothly and efficiently. The role will involve financial control of contracts and their terms. You will be responsible for planning, organising, and directing the completion of projects. Working on site conducting site safety inspections and site checks as a Company Safety Officer is an integral part of this role. The Project Manager may also be expected to work alongside the other Project/Contract Managers on financial matters.

The Project Manager will be working alongside the workforce on site. The successful candidate will be liaising with clients and attending meetings when required. The Project Manager will be a motivated individual that is driven to see the progress of jobs from construction completion and handover. This is a client-facing role, so effective communication is essential.

This is a full-time permanent role.

Responsibilities:
- Submit variation quotations and raise IOF2’s
- Prepare full price build-ups when required
- Work within the Quality Procedures laid down for the department
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- To raise monthly Valuation’s final accounts and obtain payment certificates. Then ensure the certificates are issued payments
- Handle the following: extensions to contract, liquidated damages, and loss and expense claims
- To ensure that office administration procedures are in accordance with Quality Assurance Procedures
- Keep your knowledge of Building Regulations and contract procedures up to date
- Submission of weekly Project Managers Report.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
- To ensure that Contracts are run in an efficient and profitable manner.
- To work within all Wernick Policies – e.g., Environmental, Equal Opportunities etc.

Requirements:
- Experience in Project/Contracts Management
- CSCS Black Card
