Our client, one of the main construction contractors is looking for a Project Manager to join their team and work on a mix of commercial projects in the Wakefield area.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of multiple planned maintenance minor works up to £250k on projects across the schools and corporate estate.

Job requirements include:
• Previous experience working as a Project Manager
• Proven track record of running multiple projects from Pre-Contract to completion
• Experience in delivering projects involving the design and refurbishment of premises specific schools and public buildings
• Experience working for a main contractor, local authority or consultancy
• Extensive knowledge of current Health & Safety Laws, Building Regulations and Quality standards
• Experience in creating briefs, and specifications and overseeing tender production and evaluation of tenders from the client side or bidder’s perspective
• Good understanding of contracts, evidence of use of standard form and bespoke contracts
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in engaging and working alongside multiple stakeholders in a public sector setting
• MS Office experience essential
• Project Management Qualification-desirable
