Anderselite is currently seeking x2 Project coordinators to work with the Ministry of Defence. SC clearance required

Description:
Working on a major Telecoms infrastructure upgrade. Accountable to the relevant Project Manager Developing; maintaining and documenting appropriate plans and controls for the project in line with the change lifecycle.
Ensuring the appropriate governance disciplines are observed Reviewing project and supplier documentation and plans to highlight any issues that may compromise delivery Facilitating. Resolution of project issues and mitigation of project risks Maintaining project documentation. Making a constructive contribution to project management processes Produce project documentation Manage issues; risks; dependencies; assumption and other controls Arrange; prepare materials; facilitate; chair and document meetings Monitor and report on progress Manage project resources including staff; contractors and spend Assure suppliers plans; project controls and progress reports Manage QA processes Demonstrate learnings achieved on the project Track record of successful delivery in an equivalent role with equivalent level of responsibility in complex IT application projects Knowledge of industry standard methods and tools Experience of working successfully with IT supplier staff and representatives from business teams to delivery new systems Experience of working successfully in large; complex organisations

Key tasks and deliverables
Maintaining the project documentation and information to provide control and ensure availability of records in accordance with the Management System and using the relevant corporate Management Information systems.
As the first point of contact, responding to internal requests relating to the project documentation, providing and/or coordinating information for corporate requirements.
Maintaining awareness of corporate project management procedures, identifying necessary changes required in the control of projects where appropriate.
Coordinating the planning and scheduling of project management requirements and reviews, liaising with all relevant project team members and customers.
Monitoring and updating financial data, bringing forward issues for review, and proposing options/mitigation, to enable accurate forecasting and financial control through accurate reporting.
Supporting the planning, preparing and reviewing of project documentation, bringing forward issues arising for resolution and capturing lessons learned.
Networking and engaging with other project teams, sharing good practice and lessons learned. Engaging with Business Managers and Functions (finance/commercial etc.) as required, meeting Division and Programme aims

Essential Experience Required:
Understanding of Project Management.
Awareness of the capability and S&T disciplines required to deliver the requirements.
Budgeting and resource allocation.
Commercial awareness
Microsoft Project and Excel

Desirable experience:
Understanding of the Defence and Security context.
Understanding of Dstl's business model.
Understanding of the relevant Account environments.
Understanding of the relevant programme and desired outcomes.
