Job description

I am recruiting on behalf of a company established in 2009 to address the lack of independent water hygiene consultancy within the industry. From humble humble beginnings, they have established themselves as a market leader, helping clients identify and minimise the risk of waterborne contamination and disease, whilst improving compliance performance.

The company now has a wealth of experienced, qualified and dedicated consultants all of which offer unbiased advice. Their collective experience includes Microbiologists, Biologists, Health & Safety Managers, Risk Assessors, Engineers and Building Services Professionals.

The head office is based in West Oxfordshire with regional offices in Hereford and Nottingham. There is a current opportunity for a home-based Project Consultant with frequent travel throughout the UK. This leaves location the location quite flexible provided Charlbury is readily accessible.

The purpose of this position is to provide consulting services to clients on behalf of Project Managers and to act as a Project Manager.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities Include:

* Undertaking the management of ISO 17020:2012
* Manage client risk assessment projects sustainably
* Lead, coach and mentor risk assessors
* Review risk assessors work through on-site re-inspections for consistency and quality checks of reports generated
* Generate sales, particularly from existing clients and leads that are identified
* Deliver final project report presentations to clients. Explain their report, the actions necessary and help in the future with reviews
* Liaise with Sales Executives regarding sales and opportunities, including contact with prospective clients to understand their needs and ensure projects are costed accordingly
* Act as a risk assessor when required for projects

To be considered for the role you will need to be an accredited Legionella Risk Assessor with a minimum of 5 years' experience as well as management experience and capabilities. You will need to be presentable and professional with strong communication, organisation and client liaison skills.
