Planner required for a construction company who have a strong reputation for delivery. They are experts in highrise sector. Current project portfolio includes a number of prestigious projects. Due to new work wins they are now looking for Planner to join their successful planning team on a permanent basis. This role is based out of Manchester/ Merseyside.

The Role
To develop, manage and maintain project schedules and associated breakdown structures
Ensure consistent application, effective and timely delivery of time management
Carry out critical path and earned value analysis producing reports where appropriate
Work with project and cost teams to develop summary schedules
Provide presentations, coaching and facilitation in the use of planning software
Produce progress reports showing variance against the baselines.
Complete and close out schedule activities to capture as built data for time and cost benchmarking
About You
Have an In-depth and broad understanding of planning as applied in major construction environments
Ideally hold a Construction bias or Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
Detailed experience of Critical Path Analysis
Expert knowledge of ASTA software and experience of MS Project
Experience ideally in the high rise sector.
