The specialist company in temporary and semi-permanent buildings is expanding its fantastic team and are on the lookout for an Operations Delivery Manager. With 50 years’ experience and projects all over the UK and Ireland, this company is eager to grow and improve with an Operations Delivery Manager that will monitor the implementation of operational processes. This role is crucial in the functioning and developing of the business and will involve supporting the Operations Manager in their day-to-day work. The Operations Delivery Manager will be required to conduct this role without supervision and guidance on the occasions the Operations Manager is out of office.

About the role:
The position of Operations Delivery Manager is a full-time role within the Operations Department of the company. This is a key position in support of the Operations Director. The ODM will be responsible for the successful delivery of all operational aspects of the business in accordance with the overall business strategy, plan, and policies. The role involves continuously enhancing service delivery and negotiating with stakeholders.
The role will be based in the company’s headquarters but will involve Site visits when required.

Responsibilities:
Deliver all operational projects.
Predict and monitor resource needs to match current operational requirements.
Manage the day-to-day operations to support the efficient running of the business, maintaining an operational action and activity plan to ensure continuity of project delivery.
Support the Operations Manager in the development and implementation of the overall business plan.

Specified Duties:
Implement actions in-line with delegated responsibilities, analysing and recommending courses of action when decisions are required by the Operations Manager.
Assist the Operations Manager and SD as required with any Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), to ensure understanding and develop solutions to aid the business strategy in-terms of bidding and winning orders.
Ensure all site personnel are competent in their functional roles and operate at all times within the company’s process, procedure and legislative requirements.
Strengthen relationships with customers to ensure continued, repeat, and new business to maximising the business’ market position.
Responsible for all product quality, conformity monitoring, and the continuous product improvement and innovation plan in conjunction with the Group Quality Manager.
Provide technical expertise and consultation to the internal and external sales functions in conjunction with the Logistics Manager and Site Managers.
Ensure site specific risk assessments and method statements are prepared as required by the operations staff.
Visit sites to ensure conformance by all personnel (including agency) to routine health and safety matters on-site.
