Job description

The successful candidate will be providing professional administrative support to the office and it is essential that they are able to work under pressure and to deadlines. They will have good attention to detail and a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will focus on:

  • All receptionist, secretarial and administration support
  • Answering the office phone in a professional manner
  • Maintain databases
  • Prepare detailed reports of jobs/works
  • Cost up general tender documents
  • Visits new projects sites and build relationships with site management
  • Work in partnership with all site contractors/sub contractors
  • Responsible for external distribution of post
  • Log materials received and file delivery tickets
  • Record keeping i.e. sickness and holidays
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, senior management and clients
  • Required to undertake additional duties in line with the wider aspects of role as required by management team.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • The ability to work within a multi - discipline team & office environment
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and excellent IT skills
  • Excellent client liaison skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional approach to all aspects of work.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
