The Site Manager will be developing, managing and maintaining the vital infrastructure and the successful candidate will be working on long-term, large-scale contracts.

The water operations cover the whole life-cycle of networks, including clean and waste water mains, metering, treatment facilities and other essential infrastructure.

In the gas sector, my client is working to expand and renew underground mains, often in busy and high-impact residential and commercial areas. We work closely with clients to manage and plan work intelligently in these areas, minimising the impact this essential work has on local communities.

As a Site Manager you will:

* Work as directed by the Construction Manager ensuring that all operations are carried out in a safe and cost effective manner and maintain the highest standard of quality and safety whilst working to the clients specifications

* Supervise and monitor teams and individuals to consistently deliver value against budget

* Ensure technical compliance to agreed policies and procedures

* Engage with third parties/internal stakeholders to promote and drive innovation, resulting in more efficient ways of working

* Support the team leaders

Experience required:

You will:

* Hold a valid U.K Clean Driving Licence

* Hold NRSWA - Units 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16

* Have direct supervisory experience in the utilities industry/Civil Engineering

Success in this role would lead to additional responsibility and opportunities to further develop your career as the company continues its confident expansion through organic growth.

This is a key role within the business and presents an opportunity to join a commercial team with the opportunity in a fast growing business for professional advancement.

Suffice to say that my client will make sure that not only does this appointment 'tick the boxes' technically, but vitally that it is a good cultural fit in the existing dynamics of the business.
