Mechanical Supervisor (Working) – Permanent – Dudley - Salary circa £50,000 plus company vehicle

AndersElite are recruiting for a working Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of a well-established and successful mechanical contractor operating on West Midlands projects, typically in the commercial, education, and local authority building sectors.

This is a permanent role, available from January 2025 and will require the successful candidate to be the senior working supervisor on building projects, usually across the West Midlands and surrounding counties, installing industrial and commercial pipework and associated components and systems. Project sizes will generally be from £100k - £1m in mechanical services value.

You will oversee directly employed and sub-contract pipefitters and contribute to the install phase as appropriate, as well as liaising with the end client on site and maintain close links with the office in terms of reporting progress, maintaining quality control and ordering materials.

Candidates must have a CSCS skill card in order to apply and should have a solid trade backgrounf as a Pipefitter or Plumber / Pipefitter. In addition possessing a Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certificate is essential.

Remuneration is negotiable based on previous experience circa £25 per hour, on a permanent basis. This is based on working a minimum guaranteed 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours paid at good overtime rates. Given the expected amount of overtime offered yearly earnings are expected to be minimum £50,000 per year.
