Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Northumbrian Water Framework

Job Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team on the Northumbrian Water Framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential issues.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings, as required.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required standards.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as required.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.

Key Requirements:
• Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
