Job description
Anderselite are currently working with x3 Contractors within in Joint Venture on a well-known Rail project in C. London.
They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer on a 6-month contracting basis (Potentially longer) to work in Central London.
Purpose of the Job
To engage with and assist the Mechanical Team to deliver the "Tunnel Fire Main" and the "Tunnel Pumped Drainage" throughout the entire extent of the project works.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with the CPP, EPP, RAMS and other policies and ensuring this information is disseminated to the workforce.
Managing the works installation ensuring quality is maintained and preparing for IRN inspections.
The engineering control of the works according to each discipline including design implementation and completion of quality control systems.
Coordination of the materials testing and ensuring records are created and passed on for archiving correctly and includes entering into databases where necessary.
Where required, assisting in production of RAMS, ITP's, and the monitoring of working practices against these to ensure compliance.
Knowledge
Essential
Production of detailed short-term programmes
Implementation and supervision of a safe systems of work
Implementation and supervision of a site quality system
Problem solving and clear communication.
Proficient user of IT Systems
Ability to understand and adopt job specific IT systems.
Desirable
Technical review of designs
Production and review of RA-MS
Site Requirements (SMSTS, First Aid, Track Safety Awareness, CWA)
