Managing Quantity Surveyor - Immediate vacancy - Well regarded new build housing developer

I am currently recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor on behalf of an excellent client of mine who is looking to expand their commercial team.

This is a newly created role reporting into the Commercial Manager of the business and taking over the management and leadership of a smaller team made up of Senior Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and trainees.

The client is a new build housing developer with a 5 star HBF rating and an excellent reputation in the industry with a strong and stable leadership team in place.  They are delivering between 400-500 quality new build homes across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire working within the open market sector and contracting work for local authorities and housing associations.

The role is a hands on role and will require you to oversee the QS function across the business and taking on your own projects while managing the surveying team.

You will ideally be already working as an Managing Quantity Surveyor however if you have plenty of experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor overseeing multiple projects and are looking for the next step up then it would be worth us still having a discussion.

We are looking for the following:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
  • Ideally to have had experience working for a new build housing devloper
  • Educated to degree level
  • A stable employment background and evidence of successful project delivery
  • The drive and ambition to take an existing team on and drive them forward

If you're interested in having a discussion about this role then please do not hesitate to get in contact.
