Job description

We are currently recruiting for a leading facilities services provider, to identify a Maintenance Manager for their Hard FM projects in the Chigwell/Enfield area in North East London.

Summary of Role:

* Manage the client's buildings in accordance with statutory obligations and/or best practice
* Deliver first class consistent services
* Support the Engineering Services and maintain a close working relationship with the M&E Manager.
* Understand what needs to be done by reference to the contract and ensure these tasks are executed, with detailed back-up
* Liaise with Service Partners and Cleaning staff to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of services
* Inspect and control all aspects of the companies responsibility, ensuring compliance to legislation.
* Co-ordinate all business activity within the location(s)
* Innovative management to meet changing business or Operational circumstances
* Act as the service lead contact to local client
* Ensure timely KPI compliance as specified in the contract

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Undertake site safety, health and environmental inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections
*contractual obligations relating to Hard Services. Understand the contract and its interpretation, terms and conditions, specifications etc., ensure service fully delivered to meet businesses obligations, ensure compliance fully documented
* Working with the Project Managers. In a collaborative manner, understand contract and its interpretation, terms and conditions, specifications etc., ensure service fully delivered.
* Management of any action plans to implement any improvement initiatives.
* Be innovative, explore new ways for Hard Services to work, bring these ideas forward for evaluation share Best Practice
* Feed key reporting data onto the Administration Manager in a timely manner
* Identify works outside the scope of the contract that the business could deliver and enhance the value of the contract

CSCS: desired
Qualifications: Trade qualification either Electrical or Mechanical e.g. City & Guilds. Trade apprenticeship, desired
Relevant Experience:5 Years post qualification experience. 3 Years experience in management position of Facilities Maintenance contract with multiple sites and 20 or more Technicians. Experience of supervising and management of all types of Building Services and Fabric.
