Job Title: Lead Design Coordinator - Yorkshire Water Framework

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom

Work Structure: Flexible working hours with 2 days Working from home

We are looking for an experienced Lead Design Coordinator to join our team working on the Yorkshire Water framework. As a Lead Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the design coordination process for various projects, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and on time.

The ideal candidate will have a background in design coordination for water and wastewater projects and have experience managing design teams. You will be able to lead and motivate a team of designers and ensure that they are delivering coordinated design solutions for the project. You will also be responsible for liaising with clients, ensuring that their requirements are met, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the design coordination process from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget
• Manage a team of designers, providing leadership, support, and guidance as required
• Ensure that all designs are coordinated, compliant with relevant legislation, standards, and client requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring that their needs are met, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the team and other stakeholders as required
• Undertake design coordination reviews, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
• Manage the delivery of design documentation, ensuring that it is accurate and fit for purpose

Qualifications and Skills:
• Degree in a relevant engineering or design discipline
• Significant experience working in a lead design coordination role, ideally in water and wastewater projects
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams of designers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and regulations
