Busy Architectural practice based in Gloucester are seeking a Junior/ Trainee level Architectural Technician to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding practice that have an excellent reputation. Due to the variety of sectors that our client work within, they are flexible with career background.

The client is an expert on project delivery and have gained an excellent reputation in the South-West and Gloucestershire regions in particular. They are a design-led practice, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects with high attention to detail. Projects vary from client to client including small to large scale extensions, refurbishments and conversions. Sectors that this practice operates within include Residential, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare and Education. This role would be to work in the Education team so any Education experience would be great. A few responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, working drawings and produce planning applications for several projects as well as producing 3D technical drawings, running projects and liaising with clients. The team uses ArchiCAD and so experience in this software would be great but they are also happy to train candidates if they do not have the software knowledge prior to joining. It is more about the right personality and experience for the client than anything else.

Position Overview
• Assist other members of staff
• Work on a range of projects in a variety of sectors
• Attend site visits
• Technical detailing, elevations, working drawings and building regulations experience 
• Assisting the design team/technical team

Position Requirements
Architectural Design and Technology relevant qualification/ ArchiCAD and Education project knowledge (advantageous - training can be given) / Technical experience / Hard working and motivated individual / Ability to work well within a team
