Anderselite are working on behalf of one of the largest suppliers of fresh and speciality food to the UKs food industry. The group has more than 1,400 employees to ensure they pick, pack and deliver thousands of orders every day.

As an Inventory Planner, your role will consist of planning and managing the stock levels for multi-temp products across a variety of categories and locations. The team reviews the range of products on a daily basis to ensure the stock levels are sufficient for customer demand.

Duties:
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Planning and managing stock levels across all locations
- Ensuring that the correct product / stock quantities are available at the time of pick for all depot customers, whilst ensuring that waste is kept to a minimum
- Liaising on a regular basis with Account Managers regarding menu changes / other changes and customer requirements and requests
- Assisting the Supply Chain Manager in the forecasting of volume requirements for contract suppliers through liaison with Account Managers / Customers / Other Departments
- Supporting the Supply Chain Manager with overseeing the management of the booking ladder to ensure that suppliers are using the system correctly and to ensure the efficient use of the booking-in system
- Keeping the business informed of volume changes / fluctuations that may influence the profitability of the business
- Ensuring there is a robust recovery process in place around rejections that meet the supply chain expectations but is at a cost-efficient price for the business

The candidate:
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Computer literate, good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Packages including Excel
- FMCG / Supply Chain experience would be desirable but not essential
- Interested in working in an FMCG / Supply Chain envrionment
- Excellent attention to detail and good mathematical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
- Excellent team player

The package:
- Monday to Friday - 8am until 5pm (you will be asked to work 1 in every 4 Saturday or Sundays, on this day you will finish 1 hour earlier)
