Anderselite are working with a consultancy who have an Archaeology and Heritage Team and who looking for an Archaeology and Heritage Consultant/ Senior Archaeology and Heritage Consultant to join them in Gloucestershire and to help them deliver their expanding portfolio of interesting, diverse and challenging projects.
Their team is a highly regarded and successful multi-disciplinary environmental planning consultancy undertaking projects across the country where you can build your career and individuals seek to identify, nurture and develop experts through involvement in challenging and rewarding projects. You will ideally have experience of archaeological fieldwork and a proven track record in the production and completion of reports relating to the planning process i.e. desk-based assessments, heritage setting assessments and written schemes of investigation. You will also provide technical project support to the wider Archaeology and Heritage team.
If you are applying to be a Senior Archaeology and Heritage Consultant you will have all of the above, but additionally demonstrable experience in a consultancy environment and across a range of project types and scales.
For both roles the enthusiasm to get involved with multi-disciplinary projects is essential, but also the desire to work effectively with their clients, project managers and members of the team. Most of all, you will provide (with training as necessary) solution-focused and pragmatic advice to clients on a wide variety of archaeology and heritage projects and deliver high quality technical outputs to inform and support a range of development proposals.
