HSSEQ Administrator/Coordinator - Falmouth, Cornwall - up to £20k

We are looking for a proactive, efficient and methodical individual to join our HSSEQ Team based in Falmouth. This role will provide support to all departments across the business. Overall responsibilities include:
 Assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of effective HSSEQ Management Systems
 Supporting the promotion of our corporate HSSEQ culture and HSSEQ objectives
 Providing information and support to Department / Service Line Managers and their teams
 Collection of HSSEQ data, preparing statistics and reports, working with databases, inputting data and producing reports
 General office tasks, such as printing, filing, completing meeting minutes, archiving and purchasing
 Being the point of contact for the HSSEQ internal database including the provision of training and guidance for users

There are a number of specific responsibilities associated with each section of our HSSEQ Team:
Health, Safety, Security & Environmental
 Support Line Managers with incident data collation including tracking corresponding actions, ensure all relevant data is recorded according to internal procedures
 Support the HSSE team in maintaining compliance with internal and external HSSE requirements
 Support project teams with the development of tender / pre-qualification documentation
 Monitor energy and waste data and maintain environmental records

Quality
 Support the HSSEQ team in completion of management compliance audits
 Support the Business Management System Manager with verifying and maintaining our quality management systems
 Support the internal quality assurance processes, including client feedback, supplier selection, internal quality audits and lessons learned
 Carry out reviews on new / amended documentation prior to them being added into the company Integrated Management System (IMS)
 Develop and create new documentation to support business operations

If you have previous administration experience and enjoy processing data, we would like to hear from you, specific HSSEQ experience is not required, but an appreciation of the importance of systems within the workplace would be helpful. Our HSSEQ Team is a small department with individuals located in different offices, you must therefore be able to plan and prioritise independently and be flexible with good problem solving skills.
You will be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Publisher). An understanding of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 would be beneficial but is not essential.
