Graduate Transport Planner
Bristol
£20000 - £24000 plus benefits
Our client is a privately owned firm of Transport Planners, Infrastructure and Highways Engineers. They provide services to both private and public sector clients involved in the development of land across a range of sectors including residential, retail, commercial, leisure and infrastructure.
Their city centre based Bristol office has a current requirement for a Graduate to join their Transport Planner team.
You'll work in a small team alongside experienced Transport Planners and the Transport Director and will assist in the production of transport statements, transport assessments and travel plans.
You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to, and involvement with all aspects of development and transport planning.
You'll liaise with clients and local authorities and assist in the management of projects.
You'll benefit from a structured training plan involving one to one training, mentoring, and formal training courses.
Skills and experience required:
- You'll be degree qualified in a relevant subject such as Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or Maths. A post graduate qualification in Transport Planning/Engineering would be beneficial but not essential.
- You'll have excellent communication, report writing and analysis skills, and will be proficient in MS Office software.
- You'll be enthusiastic and will demonstrate willingness to learn.
