Salary: Circa £40,000 Per Annum (Negotiable on Experience)


Our client, a large contractor within the Water Industry, is currently looking for a Framework Integration Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will predominantly focus on working with the existing Procurement Team and will involve being responsible for supply chain performance management and development (mainly in terms of cost - buying, purchasing, procuring new suppliers/subcontractors where required, but also in terms of quality and health and safety.) Whilst you will be working with each of the suppliers to monitor performance and costs, you will also work alongside the project delivery teams to gather feedback and ensure suppliers/subcontractors are performing as required.

This position has come up due to company expansion, having generated additional revenue from new projects awarded, whilst becoming key delivery partners part of the AMP 6 Framework.

In this role, you will be part of a growing organisation and network that predominantly work within the Water Sector, delivering key projects for major water bodies (This specific role will include working with Anglian Water and collaboratively working with all other contracts involved with the framework)

Daily duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Work with and alongside other contractors part of the Framework (JV Contractors).
  • Report into the overall Procurement Performance Manager.
  • Drive performance & efficiency improvement of suppliers & subcontractors.
  • Implement Health and Safety improvement objectives for the supply chain.
  • Implement the AMP6 Sustainable Procurement Initiative and deliver the benefit.
  • Responsible for the framework management and supplier relationship management.
  • Responsible for the development and agreement of procurement strategies with the project teams.
  • Identify, develop, run and set agenda's for allocated collaborative working groups to drive performance.
  • Work with the Procurement Delivery Team to interface with the project teams for subcontractor engagement.
  • Relationship Management to ensure maximum value from frameworks through collaboration and innovation
  • Incentivise suppliers to innovate and collaborate.
  • Provide procurement demand visibility for frameworks.
  • Provide workload visibility to category buyers & strategic suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier capacity requirements & efficiencies are taken into account when planning projects & programmes of work.

Applicable candidates will ideally have:

  • Strong leadership skills, being responsible and accountable for key accounts, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Previous background working in a Buying/Purchasing/Procurement.
  • Previous experience working within the water industry.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills, that will benefit the team collaboratively.
  • The ability to prioritise and plan work.
  • Previously worked in a role that incorporates performance management.
  • Integrated subcontractors and suppliers within a relevant water framework.
  • Worked with and alongside project delivery teams.
  • Relevant qualifications.
