Fleet Coordinator – Widnes – Construction - Salary £32K

My client is a construction and facilities management company based in Widnes working worldwide on a variety of construction projects including, healthcare, residential and infrastructure.

The fleet co-ordinator role encompasses a variety of key administrative tasks, to ensure the continuation of fleet process, database upkeep, vehicle and driver compliance, vehicle purchasing, management and hire.

Role and Duties
• Source all car and commercial vehicle hires
• Review all current hires on a daily basis and generate hire reports for customers
• Process all car hire invoicing from suppliers
• Raise invoices on all intercompany and external companies for car hire recharges
• Raise recharge invoices for all external company commercial hires
• Produce and send P11d reports for external clients
• Produce and sent current hires reports.
• Process damage and recharges for all companies
• Order new cars grades A-C for all companies
• Update fleet system with new vehicle details and event diary
• Arrange delivery of new vehicles and return of old vehicles
• Manage all parking/toll/fines
• Organise MOT renewals for the fleet
• Update the motor insurance database daily with on/off hires for externally hired vans.

• Solid writing skills to produce clear and effective documentation and reports
• Proficiency in using software programs, including databases and spreadsheets
• Good analytical skills to effectively analyse fleet data
• Excellent organisational skills to cope with a fast-changing environment and multiple concurrent tasks
• Solid negotiation skills to successfully handle purchases and contracts
• Knowledge of relevant environmental and safety laws and regulations
• Basic financial literacy to understand financial sheets and manage a fleet budget
