The Company

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Administrator to join a small but busy team in Birmingham.

The company is a leading infrastructure and development organisation with offices nationally.

The Job

This is a full time, Maternity Cover (12-month contract) position based in their Birmingham office. The office is 5 minutes from the station, open-plan layout and has stunning views of the city!

Salary is dependent upon experience, circa £25k per annum.

We are looking for candidates who are available to start week commencing 30th April 2018 however would consider an earlier start for the right candidate.

Candidates from an Engineering or Professional Services background are highly desirable due to the nature of the role.

Job Duties

As Senior Administrator, you will undertake the following duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the team including: typing letters, email correspondence and other relevant documentation.
  • Act as first point of contact for internal clients and proactively respond to all enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Assisting with technical teams' project work, including: report writing, setting up projects etc.
  • Processing and preparing daily correspondence, reports, presentations and other related documentation in conjunction with appropriate internal contact.
  • Ensuring all admin systems run smoothly i.e. filing, archiving and accurate internal systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • To attend meetings as and when required, ensuring that clear concise notes are taken and distributed accordingly and in a timely fashion.

The person, will:

  • Ideally come from a Senior Admin role within an Engineering or Professional Services company.
  • Have a high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to adapt to company needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full working knowledge of MS Package including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be highly organised.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
