The company works across the UK water sector helping water companies solve their AMP6 challenges and engaging on solutions for AMP7. We have recently been appointed by South West Water (SWW) as their Capital Works Framework partner for up to 10 years, as well as re-securing their role as a MEICA partner.

An opportunity has arisen for a Clean Water Process Engineer to work on the £22M extension of a South West Water WWT. Reporting to the Process Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team to deliver Civil, Mechanical & Electrical schemes, predominately in the water industry.

Typical duties and responsibilities of the role include:

* To support the Project Delivery team to achieve excellent project outcomes
* To ensure customer satisfaction
* To contribute to the achievement of the company's vision, values, targets and objectives
* To operate manage and control the companies Integrated Management System in relation to your and the company's activities and accordance with instruction
* To ensure legal compliance
* To strive for continuous improvement and share best practice
* To actively participate and positively promote good Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance
* Compile documentation for the Project Delivery Team for their Senior Management / Director reviews as necessary
* Visiting site with the Project Team to obtain necessary engineering
* Review existing and proposed process solutions and research the effects of implementation.
* Undertake Process Safety and Impact Assessments
* Undertake engineering and process calculations
* Undertake Process Flow Diagrams and Mass Balance calculations
* Liaise with client process teams to establish and develop solutions
* Contact supply chain and liaise for solutions
* Compile Project Documentation as required
* Compile and collate final contract documentation, "As built" data, test sheets etc. for inclusion into Operation and Maintenance Manuals
* Prepare and implement Commissioning Plans
* Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Process Manager

To be considered a relevant candidate for this role you will need the following experiences and attributes

* An industry applicable BEng/BSc/MSc or equivalent.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Demonstrable experience of working within the water and / or sewage industries
* Microsoft Project experience
* Desire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and culture
* Trustworthy and ethical approach, exercising discretion where required
* Organised, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence
* Flexibility, resilience and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
* Commitment to the provision of excellent customer service
* Experience in a fast paced, national and multi-site business
* Self starter who has the ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines

Ideally this is a site based permanent position although freelance is a possibility if the right person can't be secured on a permanent basis.
