With a growing portfolio of exciting projects, They are looking for personable, innovative and proactive ecologists to further strengthen their existing technical expertise across our offices.
The Role
Benefiting from working in a multidisciplinary consultancy team, you will provide sound technical advice whilst being responsible for project management across a range of projects varying in size, types and complexities. You will be a pragmatic and solution-focussed ecologist, with proven consultancy experience and excellent project management and reporting abilities. Technical skills will always be highly sought after - candidates with protected/notable species, licensing and botanical expertise, in addition to expertise across other key areas such as Habitat Regulations Assessment, Biodiversity Net Gain and hydrology are encouraged to apply.
Your Skills
You will have a relevant degree, a thorough understanding of the current planning system and environmental legislation, and have, or be eligible for membership with CIEEM. You will be willing to contribute to a supportive work environment, assisting in the mentoring and management of colleagues, and be effective at working on your own and as part of a team. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential and access to a vehicle for business use preferred.
