Job description

The Company

We are looking to urgently recruit an experienced New Build Sales Executive to join a well-established, leading house builder based in Cambridge.

Please note this is a full-time role and working weekends and bank holidays is a must due to the nature of the job.

This site is due to be live for approx. 4 years and following that, successful candidates will be moved onto another busy site proposed to last 7 years. This role is suited to candidates who are looking for a long-term position with a company who offers career progression.

Salary breakdown:

Your basic salary will be in the region of £24,000 (dependent upon experience) + OTE of £12,000 commission from plot sales + £4,000 customer service bonus = an OTE package of approx. £40,000 - a very competitive industry package.

Main Responsibility

Your main responsibility will be to provide an effective sales operation, maximising sales whilst delivering high standards of service at all times.

Job Duties

The following is typical of the duties the post holder will be expected to perform:

  • Maximising profits by achieving new build homes sales
  • Welcoming new purchasers in a professional and efficient manor
  • Progressing all enquiries
  • Ensuring all visitors and prospects' details are updated effectively throughout the sales process
  • Ensuring all paperwork and side administration is up to date
  • Keep accurate visitor records including buyers' requirements, contact information and recording grades of interest
  • Meet contracts exchange targets and completion targets
  • Responding to all cancellations making every effort to retain the booking
  • Market research and competitor analysis.
  • Achieving an excellent level of customer service both with internal and external customers

The Person

  • Must have new build sales experience
  • Superb communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Thrives on a challenge
  • Must be highly organised
  • New Build House sales experience is highly desirable
  • Experience of student administration processes
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility with hours, particularly with regards to working weekends and bank holidays
