HVAC Estimator - Building Services & Maintenance - Manchester - Up to £50,000

Summary:
My client are a mechanical and electrical company seeking an experienced, skilled HVAC Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely estimates for mechanical services on various commercial projects.


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and detailed mechanical estimates for various projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
• Ensure all estimates are competitive and comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are understood and met.
• Attend site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and determine the scope of work.
• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure all estimates are technically accurate and feasible.
• Prepare and present estimates to clients and negotiate contracts where necessary.
• Manage the handover of projects to the construction team, ensuring all necessary information is provided and any issues are addressed.


Key Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience as an HVAC Mechanical Estimator in a reputable company.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical services, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Experience using estimating software and tools.
